How it works
Selling a classic privately or at auction can take months and cost you fees. Selling to us takes days, and there are no fees at any stage.
1. Ask for a valuation
Fill in the valuation form, call us on 0800 206 2208, or send the registration, mileage and a few photos on WhatsApp. Photos of the bodywork, interior, engine bay and underside, plus a few words about the car's history, help us make an accurate offer.
2. Get your offer, held for 7 days
We come back to you with a price. There is no pressure to accept on the spot: your offer is held for seven days while you think it over.
3. Free collection anywhere in the UK
Once you are happy, we agree a time to collect the classic from your home, workplace or business premises. Collection within the UK is free. Non-runners and projects are collected by trailer or recovery truck.
4. Same-day payment
We check the classic matches the description and the paperwork is in order, and you are paid by bank transfer while our driver is with you. We will never ask you to release your classic until you are completely happy and the money is in your account. No fees are deducted.
Historic tax or MOT-exempt?
That's fine. Cars in the historic vehicle tax class and MOT-exempt classics are bought just like any other. See our guide to historic vehicle tax and classic paperwork for details.
What you will need
- The V5C registration document in your name
- The history file: old MOTs, invoices and restoration records
- Photo ID such as a driving licence or passport
- All keys, and any service history and receipts you have
- If there is outstanding finance, the settlement figure from your lender
Not sure about something? See Historic tax & classic paperwork, or just ask us.
